Moorhen's (Gallinula chloropus) are a widespread, chicken-sized waterbird found on wetlands, canals, and lakes. Recognizable by its sooty-black plumage, bright red and yellow bill, and striking white flank stripe, it is a versatile omnivore that struts along the water’s edge and can even climb trees.

The Canada goose (Branta canadensis) is a large, highly recognizable waterfowl native to North America. It is instantly identified by its striking black head and neck, contrasting large white throat patch (chinstrap), and grey-brown body. Highly adaptable, these birds thrive near water and urban green spaces.

The mallard is a medium-sized, highly adaptable dabbling duck found throughout the Northern Hemisphere. Famous for their vibrant, glossy green heads, male mallards are easily recognized. These foraging birds are frequently spotted in local UK parks, ponds, and rivers feeding on aquatic plants, insects, and seeds.
